My priorities as your Labour prospective parlimentary candidate for this Mid-Norfolk are:

To secure a Second Referendum in relation to the BREXIT deal with REMAIN the other option on the Ballot Paper

To put this area at the centre of the creation of a clean energy carbon neutral UK economy

To see a day when food banks are no longer needed in Britain

To see an end to youth unemployment and to create a national system for apprenticeships as already exists for University entrance

To see substantive investment in our NHS and Social Care and an end to Privatisation of NHS services

I was born and brought up in the North-West of England. I work as an NHS hospital specialist and I am the originator of #foodbankfriday to draw attention to those who are in food poverty because of Austerity.

I have strong ties in Norwich and mid-Norfolk and if elected as your MP will be moving to live in the Constituency.

For 2020 what I want to see is enhanced engagement between local employers and schools/ colleges, improved local bus services, increased funding for the local NHS and hospitals and more Labour representation at all levels of Government.

My politics is influenced by my experience as doctor and the people who I meet. Taking care of our society and environment is no longer a choice but a necessity.
